The internet has almost everything. The challenge is finding what is actually useful.
Today, LinkDesk ™ officially launches, introducing a new approach to discovering useful websites, digital tools, information, resources and places online.

Its promise is deliberately simple:
The Useful Internet. Organised.
LinkDesk™ combines human-curated discovery with AI-assisted navigation, creating an alternative to endless search results, sponsored placements and the growing volume of AI-generated content appearing across the web.
Rather than trying to index everything on the internet, LinkDesk™ has a different objective: identify, organize and help people discover things worth knowing about.
From Search to Discovery
Search engines are extraordinarily powerful when people already know what they are looking for. Artificial intelligence has added another layer, making it possible to ask questions and receive synthesized answers almost instantly.
But something is still missing.
Discovery.
What are the useful websites you don't know exist? Which calculator does a particular job well? Where is the best source for a specific type of information? What new AI tool is worth exploring? What useful local resource might be sitting three kilometres away?
LinkDesk™ is being built around those questions.
Users can explore a growing collection of local and global resources across categories including news and information, calculators, business resources, AI tools, useful applications, consumer resources and local services.
Human Curated. AI Assisted.
AI plays an important role in LinkDesk™, helping organize, summarize and navigate information.
But human curation remains central to the platform.
The philosophy behind LinkDesk™ is straightforward:
AI should help people discover the internet — not decide the internet for them.
That means LinkDesk™ can continue benefiting from rapidly improving artificial intelligence while maintaining a human layer around what gets included, how resources are organized and how people discover them.
Local + Global
LinkDesk™ is designed to operate at two levels.
The global directory provides access to useful resources from around the world, while local LinkDesk™ sections can help people discover businesses, organizations, information and services within their own communities.
Businesses, organizations, publishers, developers and creators will also be able to submit useful resources for consideration.
The long-term objective is to build a directory where usefulness matters more than advertising budgets or search-engine rankings.
LinkDesk™ is also part of the growing My Digital Desk™ ecosystem, connecting discovery with a personal digital workspace where people can organize the apps, information and resources they use.
The vision behind LinkDesk™ can ultimately be summarized in three words:
Find. Save. Use.
And one simple promise:
The Useful Internet. Organised.
LinkDesk™ is live now.
